Starbucks Taiwan celebrates its 25th anniversary with the opening of the first Greener store-certified "Shalu Beishi Store" with the name of Mountain Sponge Green Sustainability from today (28th), which not only is equipped with charging piles in parking spaces, but also introduces digital billboards to save paper, and launches a local limited drink "Brown Sugar Matcha Kudzu Powder Nadi" in the image of mountains. To celebrate the opening of the new store, from November 11th to December 28th, anyone who buys a special product of Shalu Beishi will enjoy "buy 12 get 30 free for a large drink".

Starbucks "Shalu Beishi" store is a single-story building, located on the road, located at the intersection of mountains and seas, the store is designed with a curved roof shape of mountains and waves, in addition to providing more than 107 seats, Shalu Beishi store is also a drive-thru store, whether customers want to stop for a moment to enjoy coffee and food, or drive around the place, they can order food through the driveway without getting off the car, and enjoy the convenient service of quickly taking the coffee away. At the same time, in response to environmental protection and reducing the use of paper, Shalu Beishi Store has also introduced digital billboards, which can rotate videos according to different material items and quantities.

Starbucks explained that the new Greener Store type certification aims to practice sustainable circulation through internal and external software and hardware facilities such as store design or architecture, and the store must pass the annual audit and certification of 25 standards jointly formulated by Starbucks, the World Wide Fund for Nature and SCS Global Services, including the promotion of energy conservation, water conservation, waste reduction, renewable energy, responsible procurement, healthy environment, and partner participation, so as to effectively reduce the amount of carbon emissions, water waste and garbage in stores. Starbucks has more than 3500,12 Greener Store-certified stores, and Shalu Beishi is the first store in Taiwan to be certified, and there will be three stores in Taiwan in the next 3 months.
